used by low income families to meet basic needs, catch up on rent or meet their financial obligations,

  • ~6500 tax returns processed for free via MFS CASH Oregon

  • 3,146 school age youth attending extended-day academic and enrichment activities

  • Over 600 parents and caregivers served through early childhood and family support programs

  • 26 older adult mentors offered 2,175 hours of regular focused literacy support to 158 school aged children needing 1:1 tutoring to reach critical third grade benchmarks

MFS program participants:

  • 69% of MFS Service users identify as BIPOC 

  • 33% of service users speak a language other than English at home

  • 74% are extremely low income
