The Oregonian's Scene and Heard Highlights MFS and A Gathering of Good

Metropolitan Family Service was highlighted in the Oregonian’s Scene and Heard section for our annual A Gathering of Good benefit!

More than 300 guests attended the sixth annual A Gathering of Good benefit for Metropolitan Family Service (MFS) on September 25 at The Hilton Portland & Executive Tower. Julie Harrelson of Harrelson Group was event chairwoman, and nine-year-old Diego Delascio served as the evening’s master of ceremonies. The evening raised a record $290,000 to support MFS programs that help more than 30,000 children, families, and older adults in the greater Portland and SW Washington area move beyond the limitations of poverty, inequity and social isolation.
