#DriveHope - Success!

$2.5k Raised for Ways to Work, Providing Low-Interest Car Loans

GoLocalPDX featured Metropolitan Family Service and Point West Credit Union‘s DriveHope Campaign, which successfully raised $2,500 using social media.

“During #DriveHope, Point West offered to donate $5.00 to MFS for each social media post to answer the question “What drives you?” In total, the campaign reached over 100,000 community members via social media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and at local events like the Big Float, Sunday Parkways and the Portland Bridge Pedal. Hundreds of people shared anecdotes, photos and stories via social media in support of #DriveHope.”

“Ways to Work” provides low-cost vehicle financing to families so that they have reliable transportation for work and are able to get their children to and from school or medical appointments.”

“The #DriveHope campaign harnessed the power of social media successfully to share our values with the wider community.”
