Beloved Project Linkage driver, Don Moran, retires from MFS service

🚌 Beloved Project Linkage driver, Don Morin, has retired from service at MFS. Project Linkage is MFS’s transportation service for older adults & people with disabilities. Our staff, clients, and fellow volunteers will miss him dearly.

Don has volunteered 3,937 hours, provided 5,824 trips, and has driven 40,438 miles since joining us in October 2009!

Don is the first volunteer driver who came to us directly from Ride Connection, so he really understood our close partnership with them.

He has also volunteered for MFS in other capacities, along with his wife Jane, such as our Holiday Cheer program, where they delivered gift bags to socially isolated community members during the holiday season.

We know that every volunteer will eventually leave us for one reason or another, but we’re delighted to have had Don work with us for the eight-plus years that he did.

🎥 Don’t miss this inspiring video of Don, with cherished rider Juaqutter!

Also, here you will find an article Don wrote about the benefits of volunteering for Escapees RV Club magazine!

🎉 👏Thank you for everything, Don!!
