MFS would like to formally introduce Tamara Falls, our Chief Advocacy and Equity Officer.
Over the past year, in the role of CAEO at MFS, her work has been focused on advocating for equitable policies and ensuring unbiased and inclusive programs for low income individuals and families. She is passionate about working and advocating to dismantle institutional racism and promoting equitable policies and systems.
Tamara has a background in public engagement focused in the field of social services and community outreach. She has a BA in Psychology and an MS in Human Services, with an emphasis in Social and Community Services. She has spent over fifteen years working to engage with underrepresented populations and has experience as a trainer in equity and inclusion and adverse childhood experiences and trauma informed care.
Over the past decade, Tamara has served on the Oregon Public Health Association Board, Health Care Coalition of Southern Oregon Board, YMCA Board, and was the Chair of the Southern Oregon Health Equity Coalition Executive Board.
Tamara is the mother of 3 beautiful children. In her spare time, she enjoys running, travel, dancing, concerts, and baking.
