In December 2000, the Service Excellence Award was established in honor of Ron Yoder, who served as Executive Director of MFS from 1972 – 1991. This award is presented annually to recognize the contributions of employees who personify MFS values. 

Annalise Albright (left) and Jane Sharp (right) received the 2009 award. Jane Sharp is an indispensable asset to Experience Corps. Jane’s integrity, honesty and kindness inform everything she does. She’s a skilled and patient trainer and school liaison. Jane has established a leadership program within Experience Corps that better supports the team while providing mentors with new skills and responsibilities.

Annalise is the SUN Coordinator at Harold Oliver Intermediate. Her thorough understanding of a complex job and excellent organizational skills contribute to the success of the HOI SUN program. Annalise researched and adopted a love and logic model of behavior management to meet the needs of her students. She advocates for families and students within the school building and in the larger community.
