Theme: Building Healthy Communities

The Provocateur Award was created in memory of Eileen Johnson, who was an inspiring example of community activism and dedicated to the mission of Metropolitan Family Service. This year the Provocateur award will be presented to Eileen Brady, co-founder of New Seasons Market and advocate for healthy communities.

Keynote address by Dr. Larry Wallack, Dean, College of Urban and Public Affairs at Portland State University. Dr. Wallack is one of the architects of media advocacy, and innovative approach to working with mass media and communities to advance social and public health issues.

Proceeds will support Metropolitan Family Service programs that help people facing economic and cultural barriers such as health-related issues, poverty, inadequate education and isolation. Last year our programs helped more than 37,000 children, families and older adults.
